Bluesy Soul, Americana, Roots

Eli Goffa

When songwriting, Eli Goffa seeks inspiration from his own life experiences, as well as from the life stories he gets from the people he meets. A meeting, a farewell, a dream, or anything between reality and fiction... all these can provide the ingredients for Eli’s latest songs.

As long as Eli’s inner spirit gets fired from time to time, he can pour out his soul to an audience that’s often pinned to the spot by the striking sounds he produces. The secret recipe for Eli’s compositions may well come from his father’s record collection, which he found in the attic. Rootsy elements from the 60’s and 70’s affect Eli when writing his music.

In the summer of 2015, Eli took his new creations to the holy ground of producer/musician David Poltrock, who transformed those rough diamonds into precious jewels at his Poltrock Palladium.

Earlier in 2016 Eli provided an impressive support act for Bent Van Looy and, after the summer, he also played support for Frances, Hooverphonic and Tom Helsen. His new single 'How 'bout a little love' has been played frequently on Belgian radio since October 2016.

In autumn 2017, a full album will be released.

Bent Van Looy

Stijn Dierinckx
Luminous Dash
